Architecture / Technology / Graphics

  • Scott is the other partner at Fortress Architecture Studio and he works on architectural design, 3D digital modeling, construction drawings, renderings, cinematic videos, and virtual reality.  He sees the importance of technology in the design and building process, and has a passion for incorporating state-of-the-art tech to help clients envision, and then realize their dream projects.

  • In 2014, after graduating architecture school and several years of working in Charleston architecture firms, Scott founded a design studio called Steel Marsh, which worked on small residential architecture projects as well as designing and building steel and wood furniture and light fixtures.  In 2018, Steel Marsh grew with the addition of Julie Keyes as Partner and began to focus more on custom residential architecture throughout the Lowcountry and the Upstate of South Carolina.  In 2022, Steel Marsh relocated from Charleston to Greenville, SC.  They changed their name to Fortress Architecture Studio, which has a focus on designing unique, beautiful, and resilient homes and commercial buildings.

  •

  • Scott founded ChronoTecture Game Studio in 2020 as a side project for the architecture firm.  He utilizes his architectural design and technological curiosity to create digital worlds for people around the real world to play in and explore.  He also enjoys designing video game worlds to explore in Virtual Reality, where the buildings he designs aren't subject to limitations like gravity.  He is currently working on a trilogy of video games called ChronoTecture.  The technological work and research done on the video game also translates to our architectural work through enhanced rendering techniques, flythrough videos, and virtual reality walkthroughs of the projects that we design.

  • He graduated from Clemson University School of Architecture in 2012 and NCSU School of Architecture in 2014. He also studied at Clemson Architecture Studios in New York City and Barcelona, Spain.  He minored in Fine Arts w/ a focus on modern sculpture using steel at Clemson.

  • He was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and studied both traditional and modern design while working for local architects, Neil Stevenson Architects and Glenn Keyes Architects.
